While San Francisco’s winds and fog held strong during the last heat wave, we know this won’t always be the case. The HAQR Implementation Plan, the first comprehensive heat planning effort for San Francisco, is a critical starting point—a shared comprehensive vision of how our buildings, our environment, and how our communities can be resilient to climate changes. We want to thank our community partners, the Department of Public Health, and the Department of Emergency Management for their collaboration.
